Banter is located at 219 West Oak Street, and is a cozy place that features younger artists work on their walls as well as a diverse crowd seeking good coffee, food or beer and wine. Their food is American, New American and vegetarian, and you can fire up your laptop, and use their free WIFI while you wait for food or just people watch. Banter does have some regular music events, so call ahead to see what may be going on at 940-565-1638.

Recycled Books

Recycled books is located on the northeast corner of Oak and Locust Streets, and has been an anchor of downtown businesses on the Square for more than 25 years.
