Denton’s art scene fires up this First Friday in July

It’s the holiday weekend and we will be starting our celebration early with First Friday Denton at a few locations in Downtown Denton July 1st.

Stop by A Creative Art STUDIO, located at 227 W Oak, just off the square and check out the featured artist of the month, Crystal Nelson. Crystal graduated from University of El Paso where she studied Printmaking and Painting. She teaches art in Lewisville ISD and also classes at A Creative Art STUDIO. It’s also singer/songwriter night and First Friday welcomes Aaron Price and Matt Grigsby to A Creative Art Studio.  Aaron and Matt will perform from 7 – 9 pm. Also, grab a brush and paint a small canvas for $5 as part of the art project of the evening. Grab a friend and come join the fun at A Creative Art STUDIO. This event is free.
