SCRAP is excited to showcase the work from Not Your Grandmother’s Bee in our Re:Vision Gallery for the month of October. This quilt show will have the work of 10 talented artists who challenge themselves to work with reused and reclaimed materials. They have created 18X18 quilt squares that are beautiful, unique and demonstrate creative reuse at it’s finest.
SCRAP will also host an artists demonstration given by the talented Stephen LaBonte. Stephen practices the art of Kusudama, an ancient Japanese technique of paper folding and he uses hymnals, comics and maps in his work. His ornaments are available for sale in SCRAP’s Re:Boutique and are lovely examples of creative reuse.
Zero96 Brewing will be at SCRAP giving out samples of their delicious beer and of course we will be open until 9 for late night shopping. Come out and join the fun
