Leslie Kregel at Cimarrona Studio will be hosting an Open Studio this Friday, October 7. Doors will be open from 5:30 – 9:00. Leslie will have her newest Fall line of hats and accessories as well as plush characters on hand.
Guest artist Alena Veteto will be bringing her French beaded flowers and copper wire wrapped jewlery. Colorful glass beads and wire that bring a touch wildflower and woodland realms into our everyday life.
Stop by the studio at 721 South Locust Street in Denton for evening refreshments and get a first look at the latest work coming out of the studio.
This is it! The last First Friday Denton before Santa packs the sleigh and heads down your chimney. Of course it’s also the first First Friday Denton before Christmas as well – the first of many more to come. There’s a lot to tell, and a lot to show, so let’s get to it shall we?
JUST ADDED – A rollicking good time at Sleeping Lizzards located at 424 North Elm Street, just north of the historic Denton County Square, in Denton. Beth and Roxane will be open later than usual for her first First Friday Denton appearance, and along with a store full of new merchandise, will also “have will have wine and cheese for all those who want to come for booze and bangles!”
From Sleeping Lizzards, it’s a short walk to A Creative Art STUDIO, and another in a long line of big evenings at Robin Huttash’s STUDIO.
At Cimarrona Studio, there will be multiple unique guests including Susan Sponsler’s handmade bags, encaustic monoprints and jewelry. Art from multiple Kregels, including masterful hand made shaker style nesting wood boxes by Charles Kregel, and unique jewelry by Patti Kregel will also be on display and available at Cimarrona Studio. Leslie also has a few new hat styles, so if you haven’t been by in awhile, now is the time.
Don’t forget this First Friday is preceded by the annual Holiday Lighting on the Square in Downtown Denton, Texas – Thursday December 2nd. This is another event you will not want to miss.
Please add your First Friday Denton event by either e mailing me or adding information in the comments to this post. The sooner I get your information, the sooner it gets posted on the site!
