Bushwhackers Wine Safari will host Nicola Jane’s Beaded Jewelry this First Friday evening, so be sure to stop in and sample the fine wines at Wine Safari and get a look at the jewelry made by Nicola Connor.
Nicola moved to Denton in 1993 and began making jewelry six years ago. She started, like so many artists, in a spare bedroom, and eventually had a studio built in her back yard. She occasionally has open houses there, and her day job as Newton Rayzor Elementary School in Denton.
Wine Safari will have a wine rep to sample 4 different wines. It will be from 6-8 and the cost is $10.00 per person.
Gloria Ferrer Carneros Chardonnay (California)
Enticing aromas of ripe Gravenstein apple, Asian pear, hazelnut and hints of oak spice abound in the nose of this Chardonnay.
Tapena Tempranillo (Spain)
Tapena is an innovative brand that offers expressive, fruit forward, indigenous wines from the heart of Spain. The name Tapena fuses two of the liveliest Spanish concepts: tapas, flavorful foods made to share and pena, a close group of friends.
Gloria Ferrer Pinot Noir (California)
Succulent raspberry, plum, and black cherry fruit aromas and hints of brown spice and forest floor announce this delicious Pinot Noir.
Finca Malbec (Mendoza)
This magnificent Malbec exudes lush, enticing aromas of blackberry, black plum, cassis and toast.
Make sure you let the folks at any participating businesses know how and where you heard about First Friday Denton – no matter how you heard about it!
