Some still images from the September 7 First Friday Denton. There’s video being edited as this goes to publication, so be sure and check back at the end of this week.
Join us at SCRAP on September 7 from 7 – 9 p.m. for a lovely fall-ish evening of late night shopping in our store and Re:Boutique, sampling Armadillo Ale’s latest brewed offerings while listening to the cool rock ‘n roll sounds of Randy Cummings and friends. Cherry Kandy will also be open for business where you can purchase lovely one of a kind handmade items in the boutique made right there in their studio.
SCRAP Denton is located a 215 West Oak Street at the corner of West Oak and Cedar Streets—just one short block off the historic downtown Denton square. We hope to see you there–and bring a friend.S
For all the First Friday Denton participants – please have your announcements in by midnight Wednesday before First Friday. You can pretty much count on it not being published if it doesn’t arrive by Wednesday.
We obviously have some great new participants, and I took the opportunity of changing the look of the site to also add the newcomers to the site. Many of the kinks that had been finding their way into the site I’ve ironed out as well. Please join me in welcoming Atomic Candy, Seven Mile Cafe and SCRAP Denton. We also now have a permanent spot for The Chestnut Tree Tea Room. Not only do you have links in the sidebar, you will find a description of your businesses on pages that most closely match your “category” of business. As always, First Friday Denton benefits from links from you just like you benefit from links going your way from First Friday Denton.
As you peruse the new site, there is a sidebar on the right, and there is also information at the bottom. In the right sidebar, along with everything else, are the links for everyone involved. IF you have been missed, or want to be added, you will want to let me know.
I just received an e mail from Cherry Fargo of Cherry’s Custom Creations / Cherry Candy Studio & Boutique and they will be having a preview of their work at the SCRAP Denton location, just off the Historic Square in Downtown Denton.
