Come and Join us on Friday, September 03, 2010 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. for the
official ribbon cutting ceremony of Shambhala Wellness. Following the
ribbon cutting ceremony, we invite you to stay for our monthly art and music
festival. During this time you will have an opportunity to meet local artist
whose work is currently on display in the center. The artwork is available
for purchase. At Shambhala, we believe that being surrounded by beautiful
art enhances the total wellness experience. We will also have live music
with performances by Katherine Kalahan, a local artist. This will also be a
great time to meet, mingle and network with others in the community of
Denton, Texas. Refreshments will be provided (water & juice) – BYOB.

There will be drawings for free Yoga class, Reiki, Massage and more.

University Drive here in Denton.

Their new location, a restored victorian home across from TWU, has its walls lined with art from different artists, and virtually every twist and turn through the house offers a different artist’s work.

According to Johanna Oosterwijk,N.D., and owner of Shambhala, “We believe that being surrounded by art enhances the total wellness experience.”

Currently Shambhala has work from artists Nell Elliott, Darlene Horst, Steve Sanazaro, Katie Keenan and Keri Burnside. They will be open until 9 this coming First Friday and will have live music, drawings for free yoga classes, free Reiki, free massages and more.
